During the colloqium, we visited Urumuri- The Light Group, a group consisting of victims and perpetrators of Rwandan genocide of 1994. Since 2010, they live together, help each other, lead a long-term dialogue on reconciliation, and do outreach in other communities.

At the colloquium, Dr.Kusa presented on the topic Memory Holes and the Democratic Project: The need of an intergenerational dialogue on historical traumas, which will take a comparative look on the use of collective memory in transitions to democracy in South Africa and Central Europe.
